Manufacturer: Global Anabolic
Chemical name: Nandrolone Phenylpropionate
Size: 10ml vial
Nandrolone Phenylpropionate is a strong short acting anabolic androgenic steroid similar to Nandrolone decanoate (DECA). It was developed in the early 50’s by Organon under the name Durabolin. This drug carried a lot of therapeutic benefits with it, it was used to treat muscle wasting disease such as AIDS, cancer and infections. It was also used to help with major burns , osteoporosis and anemia.
NPP is also used by anabolic steroid users, that is due to its great anabolic properties. This drug has a slightly higher rating than testosterone of 125, while testosterone carries a rating of 100. The benefits of NPP are quiet similar to DECA. Enhancing protein synthesis and nitrogen retention into the muscular tissue are assured if this drug were to be used. Plus, it increases IGF-1 production and increases red blood cells count, leading to a higher recovery rate and better oxygenation to the entire body.
Another benefit that should be mentioned is that this drug has the ability to boost collagen synthesis. As a hardcore athlete, a lot of stress is put upon joints and cartilage. By enhancing collagen synthesis, it strengths bones and provide healing relief.
NPP is a lot similar to DECA than any other anabolic steroid, they both carry almost the same benefits and properties. The main deference between them is that NPP’s act a lot faster than DECA and for a shorter period. This means that it should be more frequently than its larger ester counterpart, that is if blood levels remain stable.
The usage of this drug defers from an athletes to another, it depends on the purpose why it is being used. The therapeutic dose to aid with the recovery starts from 100-200mg per week. To see the dramatic anabolic actions of NPP a dose between 300-400mg per week is considered a normal dose. Such doses are kept for 8-12 weeks in most athletes.
As for female users, a dose of 50mg per week is more than enough to see results and its only held for 4-6 weeks not more to avoid Virilization.
NPP carries side effects that are possible to occur, although this drug is somehow considered a tolerated drug for men.
Here are some of the side effects that could occur, and how to manage or avoid them if possible:
Estrogenic side effects are possible, gynecomastia and water retention and high blood pressure are some of them. Adding an AI such ARIMIDEX can help to avoid them.
Androgenic side effects such as hair loss, body hair growth and acne . Virilization is one of the androgenic side effects that might happen to women.
Low levels of testosterone after the discontinuing or finishing the cycle. Its recommended to follow it with a good post cycle therapy (PCT).
This drug is not hepatotoxic, and will not cause any damage to the liver.
Avoid using 5-alpha reductase inhibitor. It won’t help to reduced the androgenic side effects, it actually might amplify them.
